Payroll Services

Payroll has to be right every single time — employees notice immediately if it isn't, and the CRA notices if source deductions and remittances aren't handled correctly. We process payroll accurately and on schedule, calculate and remit source deductions, and keep your records ready for year-end T4 filing.

That covers new-hire setup, ongoing pay runs, statutory deductions (CPP, EI, income tax), remittances to the CRA, and T4/T4A preparation at year-end.

Payroll mistakes are visible immediately — to your employees, and eventually to the CRA. Getting it right the first time avoids both a difficult conversation and a compliance problem.

How often do I need to remit source deductions?
Remittance frequency (for example monthly or more often) is assigned by the CRA based on your average monthly withholding amount and can change as your payroll grows. We track your assigned schedule and remit on time so you don't have to watch for it.
Can you handle payroll for just one or two employees?
Yes — payroll setup and compliance matter at any headcount, including your first employee.
Do you prepare T4s at year-end?
Yes, T4 and T4A preparation and filing is included as part of ongoing payroll service.
What happens if I miss a remittance deadline?
The CRA can apply penalties and interest on late remittances. If you're behind, tell us — we'd rather help you catch up than have it compound.
Do you handle vacation pay and statutory holiday pay?
Yes — Alberta employment standards calculations, including vacation pay, stat holiday pay and overtime, are part of running payroll correctly.
