Business Consulting

Most small business owners don't need a generic strategy deck — they need someone who already knows their numbers to help them think through a real decision: whether to hire, how to price a new service, whether the business can afford a lease, how to plan for a slow season. That's what this is: experience-backed advisory grounded in your actual financials, not a template.

Because we typically already handle your bookkeeping or tax work, advice comes from someone who can see the real picture, not from a one-off consultant starting from zero.

Generic business advice is easy to find and hard to act on, because it doesn't know your numbers. This starts from your actual financials, which is the difference between a template answer and a useful one.

  • Advice grounded in your actual numbers
  • Reviewed Accuracy
  • Clear, Upfront Pricing

Who This Is For

  • A business owner deciding whether they can afford to hire.
  • Someone weighing a lease, a new location, or a major purchase and wants the numbers checked first.
  • A business heading into a slow season that wants a cash flow plan instead of hoping it works out.

How It Works

  1. Bring the decision

Tell us what you're actually deciding, with whatever numbers you have.

  2. Review the numbers

We look at your real financials, not a generic template.

  3. Work through the options

Trade-offs laid out plainly, with a recommendation.

  4. Follow-up

We check back in once the decision plays out, if it's an ongoing one.

If there's a specific decision you're weighing right now, bring it to a free consultation and we'll work through it with you using your real numbers.

What kind of decisions do you help with?
Common ones include budgeting and cash flow planning, pricing decisions, whether and when to hire, business structure questions, and general financial planning for growth. If it's a decision that depends on your numbers, it's worth bringing to us.
Do I need to already be a bookkeeping or tax client?
It helps, since it means we already know your financial picture, but it's not required. We can also work from your existing records for a specific engagement.
Is this a one-time engagement or ongoing?
Either — some clients come in for a specific decision, others set up a regular check-in cadence. We'll scope it to what you actually need.
Can you help with cash flow forecasting?
Yes — this is one of the more common requests, especially heading into a slower season or before a major purchase.
Is this the same as personal financial planning?
No — this is business-focused. For personal financial planning we'd refer you to the right specialist, but where the two overlap, such as salary vs. dividends, we cover that.
